WTC_1.jpg

The WTC site, also known as 'Ground Zero'. Mixed feelings while looking at such a sad piece of contemporary history,
which is not a memorial, but a chaotic construction site. In 2011 -10 years after- the new towers and a memorial are
expected to be ready; click here to see the design.

The New York Stock Exchange, with on the left George Washington -USA's 1st president- overlooking it all.

Tight security on Wall street, the world's centre of the 'credit crisis'. Did you know it is only one block away from 'ground zero'?
